Landlord changes electric tariff???

Hi,
just curious what kind of set up you have.
Is it a house that has been knocked into flats, so has one main meter, and the flats have private sub-meters?
May be that the landlord is on a commercial tariff which will be more expensive.
It would be very expensive to change your meter and provide you with your own supply from your chosen provider.0 -
Maybe you could just get your landlord to swap the coin meter for one of these: http://www.bellflowsystems.co.uk/rail-303-din-rail-mount-electricity-meter.html#googlebasewhat a farse having to find change in pound coins every week! Never again man!
That way he can just read off your consumption and issue you a proper bill. Plus he won't have to keep collecting coins from you.0 -
Yeah, knocked into flats with main meters into sub-meters.
I'll check out that website thanks.0 -
That site was just a quick google search, you should be able to find sub meters elsewhere too.Yeah, knocked into flats with main meters into sub-meters.
I'll check out that website thanks.
I just think it will be easier for you and the LL to ditch the coin meters and just use a reading to calculate a monthly bill.0
