PC World are doing the chromebook 14" screen by hp..for £199.00..£50 off..is it worth it ?

Read the reviews of Chromebooks on Amazon. Seems like to get the most out of it you have to be connected to wifi.The man without a signature.0

to do anything much at all you really need to be online - chromebooks pretty much only run the chrome browser although you can access some stuff stored locally.0

Chromebooks can do more and more all the time without a connection. However, from the reviews, this is just a great big cheap ancient laptop that HP threw together. It's the biggest Chromebook you can buy, and if that's your thing, that's the sole reason to buy it. I'd rather have a smaller Chromebook for the same price (Acer, or the Samsung one for a bit more), or find a cheapo Windows laptop, maybe a refurb, for the same price.0
