Hot water in taps but not in shower !!!

Hi

Came home last night to find no hot water in the shower. All the other taps in the house have hot water apart from the shower.

I have reset the boiler but to no avail....its a worcester brand boiler about 3 years old.

Any ideas on what problem maybe?

Thanks

You will need to provide some more information. What type of shower do you have? Combi boiler or system?

It should have a model number somewhere? Look on the label with the voltage/power information. Failing that, can you post a photo of it - someone here may be able to identify the model?

    it's not a power shower ;)

cartridge prob scaled up or filter blocked on h/w side, turn the water off, undo the two big nuts at the back & take it off the wall & check the filters

tbh for the price of something like this it's not worth mucking about with it if it's the cartridge, you could just swap it over, no plumbing alterations involved (but check the pipe centers coming into both valves old & new they should both be 150mm) :D
I'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.

You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.
