How do you know its asbestos?

Did you put it there yourself?

What qualifies you to denote it as asbestos?
I can only assume you missed this in the original post:
Anyway I got in touch with the council and they said as it was the Railways Land then it was for Network Rail to sort out. I contacted them and a man came out and looked at the asbestos, took a picture and said yes its asbestos, its dangerous and we will get a contractor to remove it. This was in May this year.

What a odd thing to say, "did you put it there yourself?". No I didnt because I wouldnt dump it at the back of my property. Obviously if you were going to dump it, a person would do it away from their house and in a place where the council could remove it.

I know what asbestos looks like because I have as has everyone else seen it on garages etc and on the T.V, internet. Also the man from Network Rail said it was asbestos. So if it looks like a duck and quaks like a duck.. its a duck.

Do you look at your breakfast and say, how do I know its an egg? or how do I know its a pint of milk?. Lol :rotfl:, God help us, some people.
