Hi everyone
not sure if this is right place if not sorry , recently i was assaulted by bouncers in a nightclub currently waiting for police on if they are going to take the bouncer to court.
i was strangled hit in the temple and knocked out then beaten while knocked out and hospitalised with a torn lip bruises cuts and concussion.
Please bare in mind i did nothing wrong i was out with friends and a fight broke out with girls nothing to do with my party which came towards us and somehow i ended up taking a pasting for it.
If there is no justice served by the police i want to know if i can still file for compensation against the club , the company that provides the bouncers and or the centre in which the nightclub is situated?
thanks in advance

The problem with Bouncers is that they tend to know where the CCTV cameras are located and how to avoid been seen misbehaving on them!
I would get in touch with your local citizens advice who will put you in touch with Community Legal Services who could advise further on if you have a claim and how to proceed.0 -
it was on cctv however it was deemed not good enough as flashing lights in the club and too dark.... convieniently
these bouncers have a reputation `im told and i would like to stop it from happening to anyone else0 -
Have you chased up the Police?0

- you might want it moved to a relevant elsewherefile for compensation against the club , the company that provides the bouncers and or the centre in which the nightclub is situated?

Have you reported the incident to the SIA, they do investigate and are very fair.Be happy...;)0

OP you might get more feedback if you post on an appropriate forum, this is a disability forum. You would get better avice though by contacting a solicitor.0

I was assualted many years ago and i was told by police to try CICA but as i had a driving convictions i wasnt able to get them to help me, i saw a good solicitor who deal on your behalf via CICA and if you dont win, you dont pay a fee, the name is Quantum Claims, all based in Scotland but have taken on Piper Alpha and Lockabie so they aint small fry.0

CICA would be your best option.
I actually had a similar thing happen with me,except that they perforated my bowel and I ended up in hospital for 4 months, this was 2 years ago now and I'm still awaiting surgeries as a result of what happened.
My claim is also still ongoing as I appealed the first offer. which is going through a lawyer ( be careful though, I now have a hefty bill to come out of any potential offer...)
I'n my case the bouncers where convicted, one of gbh and one of assault by beating. But as I understand it, there doesn't always need to be a conviction so long as the incident has been reported to the police.0
