Hi there, Thanks to the guys on the previous thread i posted on this, but i am unable to download trial version of Windows Office 10 ( any other help would be gratefully appreciated ) as i said previously i am due for a PC upgrade in a couple of months time, but i really need to be able to access some Excel Spreadsheets in the meantime. If i was to purchase Windows Office 2010 for my Windows XP would i be able to transfer it over to say Windows 8 when i change my PC

If you have a single user licence only then you'll need to completely uninstall it on one PC before you can install and activate it on another.
But as I suggested, why don't you just use Libre Office for the month or so that you need this?No free lunch, and no free laptop

Alternatively - you could have tried MS Excel viewer - which allows you to view though not edit or create new spreadsheets
