removing lacquer scratches

I have used it loads of times with no problems and if you read my post again you will see i suggested T CUT metallic,which is made for metallic paint .I used it yesterday to remove a mark on my silver mx5.Mer is very good polish as is maguires and Autoglym.I be careful with T cut as it will take a layer of lacquer off ! I would try it on a bit of paint work in the boot first . if it works then polish up with a good polish .Mer is excellent .
