I found mine in a store called BUYRIGHTS..dont know if you have one in your area, but QD belong to the same company, so they might have them....
I allready use vinegar, lemon juice n bicarb for lots....but i didnt know it had this many uses:T ....

WHEN WASHING YOUR TIGHTS, ADD VINEGAR TO THE WATER TO PROLONG THEIR LIFESPAN

STORE CARTONS OF SOUR CREAM/DOUBLE CREAM ETC UPSIDE DOWN IN THE FRIDGE..THEY WILL KEEP FRESH FOR LONGER

These are great books you can sometimes in Countrywide farmers i got mine there and also some WI books giving there favourite recipes through the years they vary from 99p to 2.99p

My favourite tip is sprinkling baking soda and lemon juice on the hob, rather than using Hob Brite, which the manufacturer's handbook for the hob suggests is an essential product for removing stains. Hob Brite doesn't smell as nice, nor does it fizz in a pleasing manner! Hurrah for old style cleaning!Have I said something useful?

I got the 1001 country household hints from a jumble sale for 10p [I help out at it] and this has reminded me that I've very carefully added it to my increasing stash of OS books but haven't actually read it yet:o Does anyone else have a designated OS shelf or is it just me being a very sad person:rotfl: Thanks for the tips BTW
