RBS and APR

I have had an RBS credit card for the last 5 years. I have a couple of other cards as well. RBS is the only card where the statement doesn't have an APR it only has a monthly rate. Also I have received a letter saying my interest rate will be increasing. The rate quoted in not an ARP just 12 times the monthly rate. Are they doing anything wrong here in not using the APR or on the letter clearly explaining how the interest rate is calculated

Sounds like they've provided a 'simple rate' figure which, as you say, is 12 x the monthly rate.
You can use an online calculator to get at the APR from the monthly rate. See here...
