As part of the National Grids meter exchange programme my new digital meter was removed and replaced by an older reconditioned unit. I was told I had two options, replace or have my gas tuned off. This seems to be an insane state of affairs and one that National Grid refuse to talk about.
This is so far removed from saving money. In fact it seems to be generating jobs where no jobs are needed.

They do recycle meters, they are tested and re used nothing wrong with it. Although soon to be replaced with smartDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

When my meter was last exchanged they found a gas leak which I did not know about inside my property. If they didn't do a gas leak check that could have become quite dangerous.:footie:Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.
