Drving Licence Turnaround

Anyone ordered a replacement driving licence as of late? I went to buy a car Sunday and after explaining I had no physical photographic licence to show them they said that bank statements and utility bills was enough to buy and finance the car

As it got to Tuesday they stated they need a drivers licence and therefore posted a completed application which was sent Tuesday night/Wednesday morning

I believe the DVLA state 3 weeks before a return but was just hoping I get one sooner. I can't have the car until I have my drivers licence

Only an expired one. I have sent that off for renewal too. So I have to wait now until later next week before getting the car am guessing

You can call the DVLA and authorise a named company short term access to the details of your licence.

This is enough proof.

Thanks for that. However it seems 'the company' do not want the trouble of having to check. They just want me to provide a driving licence, so a scanned copy of it so they can just view, review and finance the deal
