FB L&S Comp Regs Changed?

Hi guys,
Hope you're all having a lucky Aug!
We had an email at work today about the Regs for FB L&S changing (27.08) passed down from a solicitor
Part of it states:
However, as of yesterday (27 August), all that is a thing of the past!
You no longer need to run your Facebook competitions and prize draws through a third party app. You can post them on your Facebook page and you can even ask for likes and comments as a means of entry.
But please do make sure that any competitions you run are in line with the law in your country
Just wondering if anyone had heard of this?
Hope you're all having a lucky Aug!

What do compers do in this situations? As a rule, I don't share to my Facebook page - my friends have enough to contend with with all the 'likes' I do, commenting I do and FB selling I do. Do compers just skip these, or do they point out the rules to the person/company running the competition, or just go ahead and enter?
A handful of L&S competitions are still posted on these forums which confused me.I like to make money
Best wins: £3,000 luxury holiday, holiday in Cornwall, £250 Murad Skincare hamper, angle grinder
:j Make £10 a day challenger - it pays for trips to Florida! :j

answer is a mix of all of the above.
many have had bans from facebook for too much 'sharing' and after a particularly widespread number of bans a few months ago many people complained to sites that had sharing comps - some sites apologised and changed their comps and others just carried on. but it has made us more aware of the risks of too much sharing
Personally I tend to avoid the share ones unless i really like the prize but others continue to share and have no problems.
there are still lots of other comps to choose from

Liking is fine sharing is still against the rulesPromotions may be administered on Pages or within apps on Facebook. Personal Timelines must not be used to administer promotions (ex: “share on your Timeline to enter” or “share on your friend's Timeline to get additional entries” is not permitted).
I saw one today that broke the tagging rule
We updated our Page Terms to prohibit Pages from tagging or encouraging people to tag themselves in content that they are not actually depicted in0
