Has anyone yet tried Canagan cat food? It's relatively new and is grain free and uses free range chickens. Picked up some samples at the pet shop yesterday and all the cats, young and old, love it :j

Not yet, the cattery gave me a leaflet on it the other week but I haven't looked at it yet. I use arden grange at present dry food and yarrah organic wet. Lilys kitchen is great and is free range though pricey, they have just released a 400g tin which is a bit more affordable but not all the time. Was it wet food you tried?0 -

No, it's a complete dried food.
I was also extremely pleased to see Nature's Menu have now started selling frozen nuggets of raw so you can defrost just what you need rather than the entire block. My cat eats just 3 small nuggets per meal.“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -
Might give the dry food a go.
Spudsey, what type of food is Lilys kitchen? Is it pate or chunks? Ive been looking at it but am a little nervous about ordering it since he is rather picky0 -
Just been looking at Natures Menu and I like the look of it. One of our cats only eats wet food (the other will only eat dry) and he'll only eat Sheba which isn't the greatest. He shows interest in raw food and loves cooked meat (chicken etc). It looks like it would only be around £15 per month more expensive than what we pay for Sheba. It says for his weight he'd eat 34 nuggets per day, I'm guessing that would be in either 2 or 3 meals?0

Hi
Lily's kitchen is a really meaty wet food with added vegetables, I wouldn't describe it as either a pate or chunks to be honest. You can buy it from Waitrose in single trays. They now do a 400g tin which works out a bit cheaper but I requested a trial tin of their salmon and prawns and mine didn't like it, I think the tinned versions are completely different from the small trays.
Mine love the yarrah chicken chunks:)0 -

I have to say it was not a hit in this household....I thought it looked nasty, grey, stale and over processed....the cats voted with their paws and refused it although they all eat NI, Nutriment and other fresh meats.0
