Reinstated tax credits

Just had a call from a client that had TC award reinstated last week, asking if I knew approx. when payments would be made.

I have no idea, but was just wondering if anyone was aware how long it takes. HMRC have been less than forthcoming with the info, an there's nothing in the technical manuals or online.

If this is a reinstatement of their award, then payments should recommence on the original payments plan as per current award. Obviously there will be some money now due that will be paid shortly now that the suspension has been lifted - but as to when that might be - only Tax credits will be able to answer that one. But it should not be too long.

Thanks; it wasn't a suspension as such, HMRC's filing system, once again, has messed up! I don't claim, so wasn't aware
