Tablet for streaming video

Any suggestions as to what would be a good tablet for streaming live video, especially sport from websites like Willow tv's (www.willow.tv). Would all the main tablets do the job? Thanks.

Yes most tablets would be able to stream live video, an iPad would probably be my choice but there are hundreds of tablets you could choose from

Yes most will do, but will all depend on connections. Ipad will also require Apple tv to stream. Some tablets will micro hdmi to allow to connect to tv. Some don't have hdmi, so will require something else to stream directly to Tv.

unless of course you do have one of the latest smart Tv, some of which will allow to stream from other devices.

Or could get Android tv if the only thing required is streaming Tv, they plug directly into hdmi, so effectively your tv turns into a very large tablet, minus the touch screen part.

NOOOO!!! Aren't a lot of these streaming websites Flash based? That'll make it much more difficult to stream stuff.
On Android you can install Firefox or some other browsers (NOT Chrome) and install Flash, install a plugin for Firefox to tell websites it's desktop, not mobile, THEN some Flash websites will work. If you've got a cheapo tablet, it'll be so slow and stuttery you won't want to watch it.

The samsung smart TV for instance, use there own apps to stream things like netflix and other online channels. Has DLNA, so can stream from DLNA device to TV.

Some other TV's now have NFC, lot of phones have this and now some of the newer tablets are also starting to have this.

So a few ways to do it.

As for Flash, lot of sites are moving over to HTML5
