Hi just after some advice please, My daughter is 17 and went to 6th form doing media but has decided it isn't what she wants to do, her main passion is Dancing, she has found out where she used to train they have now set up a private college but as she isn't 18 is not entitled to student funding/loan to pay the fee's, is there any other way of her being able to get the funding as the training there is Amazing, She has just been picked to be 1 of Man united's street dancers which she is so excited about
just mentioning that so you know it aint just a fad she really is passionate about it but needs to learn more styles apart from street,
Hope someone can help with advice,

Dance and Drama courses seem to be a gap in the system, so even if she were 18 it is unlikely that the usual system of student loans and grants would be much help to her. In any case, student loans cannot generally be used to study at "private colleges". Anyway, do they have any suggestions?0

Thanks Voyager, they did say she could get funding if she was 18 an that as she isn't we would have to fund it our selves which would be impossible sadly
I am waiting for another reply from them as I have asked if they do scholarship's or anything but no reply yet x

If that is the case then it would be easy enough to find something productive for her to do for the next year.0 -
