Hot on the heals of Natwest and Halifax, email from Tesco today:
Current deals are:
Huge long list of T&Cs for these offers, too, of course.
I was already bored stiff by the Natwest and Halifax offers. I think it's time now for an extended hibernation period.

£100 on wine in two weeks?
Do they expect all their customers to be raging alcoholics with money to p*ss away on plonk?
Anyone who feels the need to buy that much wine in a short period would probably be more gratified if they got 1000 Clubcard points for a similar quantity of Tennent's Super.urs sinserly,

My dad does that about twice a year. Normally goes into Sainsbury's when they have 25% off if you buy six bottles and gets a selection of 15 or so. Keeps him going for a few months!0 -

Just because you buy it within a timeframe doesnt mean you consume it within the same timeframe.0 -

Well no, not at all. 2 bottles of Bollinger Grand Annee at Tesco currrently will take you over that. I happen to prefer prefer Laurent Perrier Ultra Brut, but would definitely not prefer tennent's.
And edited to add, in line with other comments above, I bought my wine in bulk last time I bought from Tesco, and did not feel compelled to drink it all at once.0
