False Advertising? - Asus Memopad HD7

Isn't it irritating when reviews of this tablet conclude with statements like '... recommended sub £150 tablet' and also claim it is a close contender for the Nexus 7 crown as it is so cheap - when you can't buy if for less than £200. All of the reviews I have read claim it is available for £130 but I can't find that price anywhere. (rant over)

As for false advertising, most of those reviews were 2 weeks ago, so more than likely the prices were correct at time of publishing, prices do change.Mansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j0 -

maybe it was under £140?0 -
Thanks for the info so far. I think my point is that the reviews are all undertaken with a view to an item being a specific price and, at that price, it would seem a bargain. As the actual price is nowhere near what was quoted then surely that negates to review outcomes relating to value. I know it happens but it is annoying. It's the same as a reviewing a new ipad at a price of say £200 (the markwt would go crazy) and then selling it for £100 more.0

When reviews are undertaken, they list the current price. Hardly there fault if the price then increases is it. Plus when they review something, they go of the accompanied spec sheet supplied by the manufacture, which will also state the the recommended RRP. So hardly false advertising as you claimMansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j0

...um, are these the same reviews which say it isn't launched until 01/09/13?
How about looking after that date
Take a look on expertreviews (sorry, I'm a newbie and not allowed to post links)
"PRICE NOTE: Although at the time of writing, the MemoPad HD7 appears to be in stock on the Currys website, the tablet doesn't officially launch in the UK until the 1st of September - the Currys page appears to be a placeholder with incorrect pricing. We have been assured by Asus that the price will indeed be £130 when it officially goes on sale"1. Have you tried to Google the answer?
