Post Office home phone with O2 broadband

Hi
I'm currently with BT for phone and O2 (Sky) for broadband.
I want to keep my broadband with Sky for the moment as I have another 7 months of free broadband.
But my BT line rental saver is up for renewal - can I move my home phone to the post office without fear of my broadband being disconnected, and still allowing Sky to run it for now?
Thanks

If you transfer it to the post office then it may cause some complications as BT have to "wipe" the line of any products before transferring it over. This usually means the broadband would be disconnected at some point.
Give O2 a call and see what advise they can giveAll your base are belong to us.0 -
Are the post office not going to change to using the talk talk network very soon? If so, I would stay well away0

Oh good god, you're right.

Reluctant to switch to Primus too, because I've had my fill of poor customer service. Not sure BT can be classed as good service, but generally speaking, any change has a 50% chance of going wrong. Staying put should usually be OK.
I'll speak to Sky and see if they want to tempt me away from BT while still keeping my free broadband, but otherwise it looks like I'll just renew the annual contract with BT, which discourages Sky from forcing me to migrate for a little while once they've taken over O2's customers fully.0
