For future reference, if you contact a florist local to your mum they will deliver a much better bouquet and you will receive full value on your order
Exactly. I know last year i was sending some flowers to a relative in Australia, could of sent them Interflora, but looked for a florist close to them and although had to pay in AUD i got a better bouquet as did not have to pay the delivery costs imposed by Interflora0 -
Okay, just as an update (and as I clearly didn't have a leg to stand on with regards to a refund) I agreed to have a replacement bouquet of flowers sent to my mum.
We agreed that they would be delivered Monday just gone (Sept 9th) but there's been absolutely no sign of them whatsoever! I have just e-mailed the company to find out more but am honestly prepared to throw in the towel at this stage and chalk it up to experience :-(
Thanks for all the help and advice0 -

Don't throw the towel in, that would be like giving your money out to a stranger! Keep on at them, they are notoriously bad and the more time they have to spend dealing with you, the more value for your money you will have got0

Well, as a final update (I guess) my mum's flowers finally arrived at 4pm today. Thankfully in a far better state than first time round but obviously 4 days late. Having looked at the photo though they're certainly not worth £30 (plus all the angst/ stress!). You definitely live and learn!0

Sorry but a website with no T&C's on their website thats "recommended" by a first time poster who has the same location as the company in question......I'm calling spam/touting for business.
Not to mention that its possible the recipient would be hit with custom/tax charges.
You'll also likely have limited/no rights if anything goes wrong.
Site was first registered 2011 yet copyright on site says 2009-2013 yet site says they've been trading internationally in 179 countries for 7 years (yet somehow, they havent managed to get more than just a basic website up and running).
Forgive me, but I'm steering clear. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
Me thinks they are taking the mick! Going report this as spam so better luck next time0

I have just been on live chat to ask about the terms and conditions, I didn't get very far -
Olivia Greenfield, Customer Service (03:00:15) : hello!
pixie (03:01:39) : hi, trying to find the terms and conditions on the site and can't, where are they
Olivia Greenfield, Customer Service (03:01:08) : what terms and conditions are you looking for?
Olivia Greenfield, Customer Service (03:01:31) : if you check this page: http://www.giftbasketsoverseas.com/privacy.php?country=
Olivia Greenfield, Customer Service (03:01:51) : you will see 24/7 Customer service menu
pixie (03:02:59) : the business terms and conditions which are usually on the main site
Olivia Greenfield, Customer Service (03:02:00) : there you can check the needed information
pixie (03:03:33) : thats the privacy and cookie statement, not terms and conditions of business
Olivia Greenfield, Customer Service (03:03:04) : yes, so please check 24/7 Customer service menu
Olivia Greenfield, Customer Service (03:03:19) : you can also check this page http://www.giftbasketsoverseas.com/deliverypolicy.php?country=
pixie (03:04:37) : there are no business terms and condition listed on there I have looked
Olivia Greenfield, Customer Service (03:04:26) : that's because we do not have a special page devoted to them, we have different sections of this info
pixie (03:06:19) : So I am expected to trawl through all the different pages to find the information I require before placing an order which earns the company money?
Olivia Greenfield, Customer Service (03:06:09) : i have sent you the page you can check: http://www.giftbasketsoverseas.com/deliverypolicy.php?country=
pixie (03:09:07) : you have sent that to me three times and I have told you its the wrong one, I will leave my order with the company and go elsewhere as I am not confident that should an issue arise you would be in a position to solve it given that you keep sending me the same link which I have already said is not what I am looking for, thank you for your time.0 -
piglet....did you notice the website they are directing you to is not the same one the first time poster linked?
However, it is the support chat linked on giftandflowers, just they say they're not partnered or affiliated with giftsandflowers. So why the hell its got their support chat on that website when they claim not to be connected to them in any way, I have no ideaYou keep using that word.
