Talktalk Compensation

Just looking for some conformation & advise on this one. On 3rd July I had an engineer out to upgrade us to the super fibre broadband. Today 28th August some 55 days later I have my internet back. Since the 3rd July I have had no access and after writing twice to the CEO this has eventually been sorted with BT apparently being at fault as they had to reconfigure the port.
The service throughout was dreadful and with the CEO office involved at least I felt I had a direct contact that I could chase.
My main question is how much compensation should I except. They have made an initial offer of 1 years line rental plus the last 2 months credited back for the essentials...is this good enough, should I be asking for further goodwill for all the hassle this has caused, excess use of my mobile, constant chasing on my behalf etc???
Look forward to your comments :)
