Help, what do I do next?

Hi,
I hope someone can advise me what to do next.
Basically I sent Halifax 2 separate credit card PPI claims on 22/2/13, I received the confirmation of receipt on the claim on 27/2/13.
I then received a letter rejecting my claim on 1 of the cards on 21/3/13, but didn't receive anything regarding the other card.
I then phoned Halifax on 8/7/13 to ask what the conclusion was on the card I hadn't received an answer on. During that call they tried to tell me I had received a reply about the 2nd card (which they later admitted they hadn't replied to) and asked do I still want to continue with claim??!!!
On 6/8/13 a member of Halifax ppi team phoned to ask more questions regarding the claim, despite me saying I had given him all the information I had he continued to question me.
I phoned Halifax on 27/8/13 and inquired how the claim was going, I was told they were still looking at the claim and as there was no decision. As they were still looking at the claim it would take longer than 8 weeks!!
I know this is long winded but I am fed up and need advice on what to do next!
Thanks for reading

All you can do is wait for them to respond, going to the Ombudsman at this stage is not advisable as you will wait a whole lot longer than eight weeks.0
