When i received a form from Canada Square Operations regarding PPi i wasnt sure if they were legit. After a quick google search i came across the posts on this forum. After reading about the many experiences of other posters i decided to fill in the form and return (recorded delivery as advised on here). My complaint was upheld and i received a cheque for £900+...two days after receiving my cheque i received another form. This was a complete surprise so i called CSO and was told just to add as many details as possible and sign..they had all the details required. So again i competed and returned and the complaint was upheld £700+!!..(just waiting on the second cheque now).
With this in mind i called Barclaycard about my old Egg credit card (i'm just paying off the balance now). I was told that i had paid ppi for 3 years so printed off the form from this forum and sent it off!!...£900+...waiting for my cheque.
Also waiting to hear from HSBC and Santander.
This has made me realise two things:
1. I was very stupid when i was young and shouldnt have settled for the 'you cant have the loan/credit card without the ppi.'
2. I'm glad i stumbled across this forum...if it hadnt been for you guys i would never have felt like i could make all the complaints.
Total so far: £2500+ :T:T:T
