how to use the competition time table

hi all, i'm embarking on a new venture into the world of comping! just been reading through the 'insider comping tips' and got some great info to get started.

my questions is in the tips it says that there is a feature which sllows you to sort and order upcoming competitions, but i can't find it anywhere!

am i being dumb?!

Welcome to the comping board.

Do you mean sort by end date, so all those ending on a particular date are grouped together?

If so, then click the arrow next to ''title'' (just below the third green bar down, on the competitions page). You can then go to whichever date you want and enter competitions ending on that date.

hmm, think i've got it now thanks, but i used the 'Display Options' panel - 4th green bar down.

anyway, here we go!

right gonna give this a good go over the next few days. am i right in thinking the daily competition post index here is all you really need to enter loads of comps? i was trying to look through the regular competitions posts but seems all i need to do is go down that post.

basically what i've started doing is searching for #comp or #competition on twitter and following and retweeting. seems to be the quickest way to do it.

i've already entered for some pretty good prizes - jewelery, clothing, kitchenware..shall i post some on here?

Please do post any but remember to do a search.

hi, it's proberly best to make sure you do a full search before posting comps
the comping guide here gives us easy to follow helpful tips & such for searching & posting comps

hi, usually it's around 10 - 15 posts you have to make before you can post 'live' links

if you find a comp that's not been posted on here you can still post it & one of the members on here will come along & add the link for you
