Laptop for University

Hi,

I'm off to uni in september
Have around £350 to spend on a laptop, obviously the cheaper the better

Needs to have wireless, and word. A well known good make would be better.

What kind of laptop should I be looking for?
And are there any deals like 10% off, or even student offers?

Many thanks

This seems like a really good offer and is really tempting. Is there ever any problems with reconditioned models that you wouldnt have with a new one? This seems really cheap and if you can get a student discount on top seems like a real bargain but is it as good as it seems?

    Thanks

I noticed last week that the huge Tesco near us has laptops for £350. I think they were Gateway but I didn't see the detail.

To be honest if you need the laptop from September onwards then buy it nearer the time, you will be surprised at how much prices drop and how gutted you will be for not waiting until then...
