DIY Steel Conservatory Bases

I'm looking at these DIY conservatory bases and am really just looking for some opinions. I see numerous bases such as Instabuild, Durabase, Conservabase, Easybase and more, but they all appear to be almost identical in what they offer, as if they are all from the same supplier, just different branding.
Has anyone had experience with any of these and if so, where did you purchase from, which one did you go with and how easy did you find it?
If you have any other useful information or insights, I would be grateful to hear them.
Thanks

I would build the base the proper way. They are more sturdy and last the test of time. These steel bass are just cheap imitations.SECRET OF SUCCESS IN LIFE:

Probably more of an amatuer solution for those unskilled in construction to be honest.
But agreed, do it the conventional wayI like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Thanks for taking the time to comment, but for me it's not a choice between steel vs. conventional, it is steel vs. not building.
I would rather hear from anyone that has used, or knows someone that has used these type of bases and if they have any negative or positive comments.

I'm also looking to have one of these installed. Have you done any more research? All you seem to get on this forum is cynics and naysayers.0 -
I had a quick look at the conservabase video. Gosh they make it look easy! My immediate thoughts were that it will only be as good as it's weakest component and the legs they use to support the base would need to be checked thoroughly.
25 year guarantee? Will they still be around in 5 years let alone 25?0 -

Try a different forum then, but don't ask the question if that's what you believe.
If you ask on here you will get a and get a consensus of opinion and experience, if that's negative then just maybe it's a clue that the proposal is not idealI like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

I installed one of these bases about 10 years ago and it was simple to do and there has never been the slightest problem with it. I cannot say who the maker was as the conservatory firm has gone out of business. I think that it is a brilliant bit of kit. I believe that it cost about £800 at the time and was well worth the money. I speak as one who is quite capable of laying a conventional footing and has done several times, but chose not to in order to save an awful lot of work at the time. It is something that I would not hesitate to use again.I can afford anything that I want.

Do they do irregular shaped ones or is it just rectangles? I'm thinking for a hybrid victorian/edwardian conny.
