MBNA Letter

Hi guys,
Hoping someone has some advice for me please
I've received a letter today from MBNA to say that I may have been missold PPI on a credit card I had with them starting in 2006.
I knew I'd had PPI on a card with them previously (I thought it was earlier than 2006 so maybe another letter to come) but didn't have any paperwork to chase it up.
My circumstances regarding this PPI are that I felt bullied into buying the PPI at the time of calling to activate the card. I remember around early 2000's that whenever I changed credit cards you'd have to suffer the hard sell on PPI when you just wanted to activate your card!! I don't recall it ever being fully explained to me, just that it was an ordeal for them to say "your card is now activated".
At the time I lived with my parents so I had no major bills to pay apart from my car finance, I was full time employed with SSP and statutory redundancy. In terms of being able to make payments on the card balance if I was unable to work, I had a little bit of savings from saving up a house deposit and help from my parents.
My questions are:
1. Are they likely to uphold my claim based on the above?
2. Will I need proof of my savings I had at the time, etc? All statements have long been shredded...
3. If I send them a SAR letter, will they send me info on all accounts ever held with them? I definitely had my first credit card with them pre 2000 and can imagine I was probably tricked into taking out PPI then too!!
Thanks in advance
