I would be most grateful if you could give me an idea how long it takes for a final bill to be sent when someone submits a reading because they are leaving a property?

    4-6 weeks is the norm.
    No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

    I’m sorry we haven’t replied to your post sooner.

    If you gave your final reading over the phone, we’ll have closed your account straight away and the final bill can take up to 5 days to reach you at your new address.

    If you had an online account with us, we won’t send the bill in the post, we’ll email to let you know it’s ready to view online and this would be within 24 hours of your call.

    If you used our online from to let us know you’d moved out or sent us an email, it can take up to a week for us to update everything our side and issue your bill, we’ll always reply by email to let you know when this has been done.

    I hope this helps and you’re all settled in at the new place. If you’ve been waiting more than a week for your bill, you can email your details to the address on my profile and I’ll be happy to help.
