good call, but too late as it's already started, by the time it even got tabled to be heard the trial period will be over & as they are trying to shoot 100+ badgers a night for 6 wks the only way to do anything is to get your hi-viz on & join the protestersI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0 -

Indeed about those who go out and do the physical side of it, but not all of us can for a myriad of reasons, so this is pretty much all we've got. Keep sending the message home to the MP's that we are not a culture of barbarians scape-goating another species for our own wrong doings.0 -
Damn it. Thought you were talking about culling cats.Trying to be a man is a waste of a woman0

totally agree, however like i said i fear it's too late, especially with whats going on in the middle eastnotanewuser wrote: »Damn it. Thought you were talking about culling cats.
what difference does it make ? culling the badgers isn't going to make a difference to tb, do they really think it's going to go away over night & there's no def proof it's down to badgers totally anyway
how many females are gonna die leaving the poor cubs to starve to death when the cubs don't even leave their sets for three months so no chance for them to fend for themselves, totally the wrong way to tackle the situation, but then nothing new with the idiots in charge of this country (which ever party cause none of them have a clue).I'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.

No you didn't, you're just trolling the pet board again. Why bother?0 -
Well, I got a letter today from the House of Commons. It was a copy of the letter/petition thingie in the link sent to my MP + the forwarded letter they sent to the relevant body. Also included was the response the MP got.
It included a leaflet about the cull which wasn't even printed correctly (upside down on one side). And a letter responding to the MP. Both the letter and leaflet were full of statements about how it's been scientifically proven that culls work on TB - it didn't give any of this so-called 'scientific evidence' though. Probably because they know all the studies show the opposite to what they claim. And basically the usual spiel about how it's to protect wildlife (by killing it?), cattle (that get killed anyway for meat) and people's 'livelihoods'.
A bunch of BS masking the fact this is simple blood lust of hunters and scape-goating by farmers for their poor welfare standards.0
