Berry Blue jell-o - I think the blue dye they use is banned in the EU but it's yummy!

McD's sausage and egg muffins - greasy, sugary, plastic cheesy goodness!

I love both of those - once made up a huge jelly in a glass bowl & added tinned peaches - my son was having an animal themed party & they looked like goldfish :)

If we are driving long distance & setting off early, I never have breakfast beforehand as I really, really look forward to having a McD sausage & egg muffin.

I am a little disgusted that people eat mash potato sandwiches!!!!
  • A Fray Bentos steak and kidney pie... Utterly delicious and my ultimate comfort food. No other meat pie comes close to matching it for yumminess. It's that soggy stuff between the meat and the crusty top that does it for me. I always save that for last.

I used to feel a bit guilty for buying them. But clearly other people love them as well, of they'd have stopped making/selling them years ago.

Although I must admit to stocking up when I see them on special offer... Just in case. ;)

Also the Tescos chicken curry in a can is delicious! That with some boil in the bag rice is the perfect "I'm starving and want to eat now" tea. I probably have that at least once a fortnight. Yum!

Am I the only person who'll admit to liking Diarylea Lunchables? The original chess and ham ones. I could eat a pack right now.
Good enough is good enough, and I am more than good enough!:j

    fishfinger and cheese toasties :o

I've been known to have tinned potatoes with gravy, peas and mint sauce. which is actually lovely.
    :AA/give up smoking (done) :)
  • I'm another one who squirts squirty cream straight into my mouth...
    I also love cheap chocolate.
Slices of ham, spread with sour cream, grated cheese and lettuce, rolled up and sliced - mmmmmmmm!!!
My BF has jam and cheese sandwiches for his lunch every day, and has had them since he was little!
I love angel delight, ambrosia custard (nothing else comes close!) Heinz tomato soup (with a cheese toastie dunked in it!) Betty Crocker brownie mix, the cheapest chicken super noodles on toast, with chopped up ham and grated cheese, shoved under the grill... Mmmm!
Plastic cheese slices on beef burgers

Curry fried rice and chips from the Chinese takeaway..... With tomato sauce on! Amazing!
the only debt left now is on credit cards! The evil loan has gone!! :j:j
  • Loving this thread :D.

    My faves:

Pickled beetroot sandwich with salad cream
Fish finger sandwich with mayo (both need to be on white bread)
Strawberry Angel Delight with squirty cream and sprinkles on
Used to love Dream Topping but not had it for years - might have to go and find some
    Chicken and Mushroom Pot Noodles
Also a lover of McDonalds Sausage and Egg McMuffins - theres a McDonalds right by work and I often (too often) stop and get one on the way home from a night shift :o

I'm not sure I could to be honest. I don't buy tinned soup as a rule as it's so much easier and cheaper to make my own but there's something about Heinz tomato that just can't be replicated.

As a child I used to love Heinz tomato soup with white bread and butter.....we usually have some in as OH likes it for lunch sometimes.....

I don't have it as it seems to have a slight metallic taste.......perhaps my taste buds have changed over the years.

My kids used to squirt squirty cream straight into their mouths....I used to go ballistic at them.....however I wasn't immune to a quick squirt myself.....caught my 32 year old daughter having a surreptitious fix in July when she was visiting......and the can had been there since Xmas.
