Ok, sorry, in that case don't thank those that have tried to help.
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed
  • ASDA are selling Hero Resealable sandwich bags, at 100 for £1.

A bit on the small side for a family meal (16x17cm), but maybe for a take to work lunch?

I found these great for sarnies etc but not for freezing.

Not thick enough to protect from frost burn, and when meat defrosted, the blood leaked out.

But a great buy for light use.

I find the ikea bags sometimes leak a bit when defrosting. I recently found those soup and store bags in poundland and got a big stash. They are ok but not sure I will buy anymore as they are difficult to empty because of the gusset bit and they dont stack as flat. Interesting to hear everyone elses recommendations :-)

It's because they get knocked around in the freezer and punctured, much more likely when sub zero than when you handle the bag initially.

We use a lot of these bags, both ikea and others, never found a difference personally.;);)

    Hi all,

I was in Aldi earlier and saw a NEW PRODUCT! Pour and store bags. They have a base and will stand while you pour your stuff in. There are 8 to a pack, and are re usable, at least I will! Haven't used them yet, but they sound great for me.

They are like ziplock but have a base when you open them out. I can't wait to try them.

They also have a measure on them so you know how much is in there.

Just a tip. I think they cost 1.50 or something. Receipt is in the bin covered with peelings and gunk sorry.

I was in Aldi this morning. Wish I'd looked for these.

    99p per pack of 8.
