Hi I have been checking my credit report and have a defaulted account from 2010 but even though I have continued payment within a DMP, there are no other payments showing on my file - is this correct?
Thanks njc12

If the payment through the DMP is less than the originally agreed payment, then yes a default would be issued.Fritterati Challenge for 2013:

thanks for the reply
I was wondering though should there not be updates in the following months after the default to show that I had continued paying albeit less than they wanted? 0 -
After a default has been issued and if you are making regular payments then usually the only change is that the outstanding balance should be updated regularly to reflect that the balance is decreasing.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
