Ebay Paypal Claim from Buyer - Is it worth contesting?!

Hi all,
I'm a business seller on ebay and put some non-working items in a listing on a 99p auction and clearly stated they were not working in the description. I also put no returns.
So, 16 days after the buyer has purchased (I dispatched the next day and they received 11 days ago according to the tracking).
They have now made a dispute through Paypal, saying that the items in the listing are not as described and are unrepairable (I never stated that they were repairable).
Also, they have requested a refund of £9 when the item was £8.50 plus £4.50 p&p and they want to send the item back.
I think they have bought them, tried to repair them and can't (which is why they have taken 11 days to open a dispute).
Anyway, I've replied through paypal saying the item description stated that they were not working and I have not stated that they are repairable.
Have I really got any chance of winning this, knowing how ebay/Paypal normally side with the buyer.

A business seller should not be refusing returns as you have now forced the buyer to open a claim against you. However, do not give in to a partial, respond formally to say you will refund in full on safe tracked return of goods, and leave it with them.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Thanks for the response. Even if I did offer returns, then they would be outside the 14 day period as they have put the dispute in 16 days after purchase.
I do normally offer 14 days returns on all of my BIN's, but I thought you didn't have to on auction items?0 -

Currently you don't have to offer returns on auctions but it is an unusual business that does not.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Well I put no returns because like you say, you don't have to offer returns on auctions.
So instead you now have a SNAD claim open against you, the result,is the same .I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. If you sell on eBay then you need to factor in a 45 day return period, whether you are business, private, listing via auction or BIN.0

I may be being naive but if you have all the information in the description and item specifics regarding faults and the buyer is only disputing that then you should win.
We have had a thread in the past few months where a seller actually won a SNAD on an item sold for parts only.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
