Hi all,
Looking for some impartial advice from fellow Moneysavers...
I'm thinking of changing my gas & elec from Npower. We have used £350 of gas & £564 of electricity over the last year, so we have a benchmark on which to compare Npower against the others.
I can...
1. Change to Scottish Power, save £152 annually & get £30 cashback from moneysupermarket.com.
...or...
2. Change to Powergen, save £107 annually, get £30 cashback & also get 1 Tesco clubcard point for each £ of our bills.
We have used Tesco points in the past for things like mag subs, leisure activities, so we do use them.
Have fellow Moneysavers that have been in this sort of situation chosen to go with the best savings, or paid a bit extra in order to get the additional benefits?
All ideas / suggestions / theories welcome!
Cheers,
Mistryman

savings, in real terms the club card points will be less than £10 to you0

yep either way teh SP deal always remains about £10+ better assuming no price changes0

just checked scot power online 4 gas price, your saving nothing there. The saving is all electrical. Double check this but i have npower about £20- 35pa cheaper for gas. Usage estimated 13500 kWh. You only save £10 on a dual fuel discount so your not losing out there. Split your fuels for the best deal. Fantastic electric deal though. Npower gas about 4.6 for the first 4572 then 2.0 thereafter. Scot Power about 3.5 for the first 4572 the 2.5 thereafter. Try Atlantic or Powergen gas rates or equigas 2.5 flat0
