Redundancy

Hi can anyone help i have been verbally told my job will end on 31st November and that i will recieve a redundnacy payout (not much).
But i have asked to have it in writing and they have said that i wont get it in writing. They are being very funny with me and giving me lots of extra work since laying of other staff. I have a consultation on the 29th Thurs can anyone help with questions i should be asking and also am i entilted to it in writing.
