I doiubt if the exchange will get any higher, as Australia is doing very well thank you. it used to be 2 dollars to £1.00 about 15 years ago, I don't think those days are going to return for a long time.0

Can you pay with a credit card? This would give you additional protection. With VAT, possibly duty and a handling charge you are likely to pay another 25% or so on importing - VAT is charged on the item cost and the postage charge.0
