$3 to the pound. The Reserve Bank of Australia board member John Edwards has just today said it's still too high and needs to fall further to cushion the effects of slowing demand from China. Interest rates are being cut to record lows to stimulate demand and the outlook is for further cuts. My crystal ball tells me the dollar will be at $2 to the pound by the end of the year.Battleaxe44 wrote: »I doiubt if the exchange will get any higher, as Australia is doing very well thank you. it used to be 2 dollars to £1.00 about 15 years ago, I don't think those days are going to return for a long time.:footie:

Can you pay with a credit card? This would give you additional protection. With VAT, possibly duty and a handling charge you are likely to pay another 25% or so on importing - VAT is charged on the item cost and the postage charge.0
