Amsterdam in Septeber

Looking to go to Amsterdam last week of September. Doing the dfds seaways cruise over there.

In terms of prices for say madame tussads or the anne frank house, are there cheaper ways to get the tickets or should we just buy them over there?

I would strongly advise booking the Anne Frank House tickets online before you go. We did that last week and walked in while the queue was 3 hours long.

If you are using public transport, the Strippenkarts are by far the cheapest way to travel around.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

Did you read about the DFDS mini cruise to Amsterdam earlier in the year?
The passengers had a total of 6 minutes free time in Amsterdam after the ship was delayed though bad weather.
6 whole minutes, maybe just enough time to get a stroopwafel :)

After that they were put on a coach and driven to the Hook of Holland to catch the overnight ferry back to Harwich [no cabins provided] and then a 6 hour coach trip back to Newcastle

Sounds like they had a whale of a time

Don't go all the way to Amsterdam and spend time in a wax works...please explore the city, take a canal cruise but don't spend your time indoors, you could do that any day at the Metro Centre or Eldon Square

Agree with above, a canal cruise is great.

I would also look at another way of going so you actually get some time in Amsterdam
