Hi
I have had a debt of around £1.5k on a natwest credit card, can some one please help me find a credit card company I can transfer to, I got an RBS card but the transfer failed cause they are linked. I would like to avoid using barclays if possible.
Thanks in advance

Anyone who is not part of the RBS group would work. Obviously your acceptance for any given card depends on your credit history and how you score with the lender in question.
Bear in mind that if you have recently acquired a new card, that could count against you in terms of acceptance and likely limit.0 -

Thanks, would I be better off not activating the RBS card and cancelling? Or is it too late.0 -
Depends on your income/debt/limit ratios. But it would probably take a month or so for the account to show as closed on your credit reports, so may not have any immediate benefit.0
