Nationwide Select vs normal card

Did a soft search for my wife 1 month ago, on the last day of her previous job (entering old job details) and got 4500 limit for the regular card
Both regular card and select are giving 26mths with 2.4% fee, but select also has 12mths 0% purchases + 0.5% cashback
Question: Should I get her to apply for a flexdirect then the select card, or just the normal card? If still offered 4500 limit, we could spend another £1800 at 0% for 12 months+cashback - OR if going for the normal card, use it for BT only (and spend on her Tesco card which has 6 months of 0% purchases left)
Given that nationwide encourages a double application, the search from the flexdirect shouldn't affect the CCard quote, right?
However once she has a card I want to apply for 3x BOS vantage, 2x Lloyds vantage and more flexdirects for her. I need all these searches to drop off by April when it's time to shift £3000 from Tesco, as well as get some signup bonuses from Amex/Cap One
No searches in past 6 months
Current 0% runs out in mid october, £2600/£3000 Lloyds
Other cards and overdrafts £3000 balance with Tesco, £9000 total limits
New job is £40K, but only 1 mth with employer. Also new address for 1 mth (will put "Other" as we are living in my parents' house while they are on a year-long rtw trip!)
