I'm shocked at the sheer volume of replies though! Cheers!
Thanks for letting us know.:)
I hope you aren't planning to live on baked beans though.;)0 -
Go to Asda. Buy a four pack of Branston baked beans for £1.32.That's 33p per tin. Empty a can into your saucepan. Fill the can up with tap water and add it to the saucepan. Your baked beans are now costing less than 17p per tin with the added bonus of lower salt and sugar content.

I also add water to my beans but only half a can and I stock up when they are 4 for 1.00. I just love Branston Beans.Slimming World at target0 -

Just because we love them just watch the shops refuse to sell them again lol
They are the best though, just the right texture of the beans, the sauce is spot on and a tangy zest to add a little kick"Don't blink. Blink and you're dead. They are fast. Faster than you can believe. Don't turn your back. Don't look away. And don't blink. Good Luck" - The Doctor.0 -
Another vote for branston baked beans, in fact side by side if branston and Heinz we both same price (normally they alternate going on offer) I would pick branston every time.:money::rotfl::T0

Am I the only one who doesn't like Branston beans?! Tried them a while ago and just didn't float my boat at all. I go for heinz or whatever the aldi brand is, not that I eat them much0

I am a Branston Beans fan. I have 14 tins of it and I live alone! As been off sick for over a month now, I probably gone through 1.5 tins a week in that time - eating half a can at a time. Use one tuppaware style pot to store the other half in the fridge.
So glad when Asda had the four packs to £1.
I like Aldi's beans as well as had their beans and sausages for 40p last week.0 -
Morrison Msaver beans are 25p as well.
