Jobseeker's - now I have a temp job

Hi there
Just a quick bit of advice needed. I'm on jobseeker's but managed to get a weeks temping work.
I found out late on Friday afternoon, I won't be able to contact them tomorrow because it's an early start and the office will be closed by the time I finish.
On top of this, I only get 30 mins break per day. You may say ring them but the thing is I simply can't afford to spend 20+ minutes on hold to the office (that's if I even have enough time on my lunch break - last time I spent 45 minutes on hold on my land-line)
Anyone had an experience with this, I'd really appreciate advice on what steps to take. Would I be ok just doing the work and then contacting them afterwards? Thanks!

Normally you ring the JC you sign-on at. As it is only a weeks work, I'd wait until I sign-on again & tell them about the work. They will give you a form to fill-in.Never Knowingly Understood.
