Hi consumers_revenge
Please note the following forum rule on exchanging information or buying/selling/swapping items: http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/site/forum-faqs#giving
I'd recommend trying your local library for the Haynes manual in question, or ebay. The Focus is one of the most common cars on the road so you should find something

what problems are you experiencing with the pump?
what engine?0 -
Halfords has haynes manuals for common cars (the focus likely included) so worth a look if desperate.Oh, you wee bazza!0

Im replacing the fuel pump on a w reg 1.8 zetec. The pump powers intermitantly.
Have the new pump but need to know how to dis/reconnect fuel lines correctly.
There used to be some good mechanics forums around ( kelseys ) but cant login anymore. Anyone know of others?

if its the sit in tank type it will only have two pipes in the top, marked with red and white clips, have the new pump next to the old one and before you take the pipes off, make a mark on the new one where the white and red pipes go in.
im not sure if its in the boot under a alloy plate or under the rear seat, there a big black retainer coupling on it wich youll need a turn.
if its deisel pump. put the pumps side by side and move the pipes over to the new one where they came off the old one or draw yourself a diagram or take picture as you go.
intermittant pump failure is either a fuel filter clog up, or solenoid (intank pump version) being forced to suck nothing up and motor solonoid burning out.0
