Paid in GBP but charged in euros

Sorry if i have posted in the wrong place.I would like some advice please.I paid for goods online from a online merchant and all prices are in pound sterling however when i paid for the goods using my debit card i was charged in euros and due to a exchange rate i paid 15% more for the goods in euros and incurred a charge from my bank for a exchange.I had no idea i would be charged in euros as all prices are in pounds and the seller is uk based.I have complained to the money brokers SKRILL who took my payments but have just ignored me.Where do i stand as i have basically paid an extra £20 for the goods paying in euros.
many thanks.
many thanks.

what terms and conditions did you agree to?
Can you provide the web address ? As a new user you will need to leave off the www and the http, might need a few spaces too, but then we can help you further.0 -
You may find buried in the small print that any currencies shown are based on current exchange rates. This is all very well, but if you thought you were paying in Sterling, only to find a foreign currency conversion or a fee for using your card to make a 'foreign' purchase, it is VERY difficult to seek satisfaction.
The additional charges are levied by your bank, not the seller, so they have done nothing wrong - your argument is with your bank for charging so much, and to a lesser extent, the fact the vendor did not highlight that sales are based on EUR€. That said unless they are prepared to make a goodwill gesture, you are stuffed.
I now use a card that permits multiple non-Sterling transactions without FX fees (Saga Visa), but I have seen a few go through in US$, HK$ and EUR€ that caught me on the hop - but you just have to be pragmatic!0 -

Personally i would never order from such a site. it is cheaply put together on a default prestashop script which a rushed logo made using http://cooltext.com/. also no real return policy and a legal notice which is not a legal notice and being a UK site legally it must have full business name and address along with an email or phone number.
also the who is information says he is a
Registrant type:
UK Individual
which implies it is not a trading domain, so breaching nominet rules
i like the info here http://ukdreamshop.co.uk/content/9-new-website-info
In other words ' we messed up and got kicked off our old host without any backups, so we have to build another site with another host'0 -
I have just contacted them again but still nothing...I have also contacted my bank to ask about a charge back but heard nothing yet.
WOW your good0 -
