Help with wrong info removal

I have checked my credit reports recently and saw that there were 7 defaulted accounts on my file that are not mine.
Lets say my name is -mrs Anne Jane jones, the debts are listed as mrs ajane jones and the date of birth is a different year too.
I have notified experience back on may and they still haven't removed it. I've also contacted equifax and noddle but aside from equifax sending off info request after me showing my passport and drivers licence I've heard nothing or seen no changes.
All that's happened is equifax have put a notice of correction on my file which makes it sound less credit worthy than it is now.
I am angry that its not so simple as to say, your right, the name and date of birth don't match (although similar) so we will remove it.
I have even heard on other threads the refusal to sort these things out. What's my next step? Please help as I want a mortgage next year :-(

Next step is to chase the three CRA's again, and then if you still don't hear anything, make complaints. What will your verse be?

Who do I complain too and is there an official type of template letter to use? It's clearly not me and its listed under attributable data also, so how can they state it's me?
I've heard the term ICO before now. Who are they and can they help?0 -
One more question, can they refuse to remove it?0
-
The ICO is the Information Commission's Office. If the credit reference agencies refuse to remove the incorrect data, you can make a complaint to the ICO, who can force them to remove it as they're in breach of the Data Protection Act.
There should be complaint procedures on each of the three websites for the three CRA's, but let us know if you struggle to find them and someone should be able to help. What will your verse be?

Can't imagine it being a problem, it'll be those idiot debt companies that have created a link. It can take a while to sort out, better to know now than next year.0

thanks for the advice guys. Im going to call them all today to complain, and tell them if its not sorted asap then I will involve the ICO. fingers crossed I get somewhere.0

Called experience to complain as its been a few months, and it appears that they have removed two accounts but not others :-(
Feel like a broken record lately trying to get this sorted. Apparently it's been raised as urgent so should hopefully be sorted soon. That means only noddle and equifax to deal with next.
It's only been a week since I raised it with them so have to allow another 3 weeks to sort it. Wish me luck 🙏0
