Firefox 23.0.1 Misformatting Web Pages

On Windows 7 Professional, my default browser Firefox 23.0.1 this morning did not format web pages correctly for websites such as MSE and BBC, when other browsers like IE and Chrome did not have the issue, and downgrading to Firefox 22 made no difference.
I had to export the Firefox bookmarks to a file, un-install Firefox deleting all data, re-install Firefox, and import the bookmarks from the file, to get Firefox to format the webpages correctly.
Does anyone know a way to resolve the formatting issue without having to delete the Firefox data and without having to uninstall and re-install Firefox?
Thanks.

Are the glitches still there now? (Using 23.0.1 on Win 7 without problems on those sites.) Any specific pages still affected?
It could have been just temporary congestion with your provider/their server/your CPU/ad server meaning lower capacity fallbacks being displayed.
If it isn't temporary and don't want to wait ages for the next Firefox update (;)) you could try importing data from Firefox to an alternative browser before uninstalling it. (eg, on Internet Explore choose File->Import and export...).0 -
It would help IF you gave more information, other than "did not format pages correctly"
Too wide - too high - text too big - too small - bits missing ??????????????

The issue was general, all web pages on websites such as MSE and BBC, and I cleared the issue by deleting the Firefox data. Are the glitches still there now? (Using 23.0.1 on Win 7 without problems on those sites.) Any specific pages still affected?
I did consider taking a screen shot and uploading it a sharing website, but the misformatting was only on my main Firefox installation and not on any other browser including Firefox Portable 12.It would help IF you gave more information, other than "did not format pages correctly"

As for the effect, the web page was displayed with all the menu entries, text strings, and pictures each displayed on its own line without any boxes or colouring of text, so everything was present but strung down the page.
I did do a Google for this issue, and the effect was similar to this issue. I had already tried clearing history and reloading, and went through the Add-ons, Extensions and Plug-ins, and the Options, but overlooked the reference to 'cache', which is what cookie365 identified as the probable cause.
You are probably right, and I should have tried this option, but at least I know should the issue arise again in the future. That's usually a cache thing.

Many thanks for your replies, folks

It sounds like a misloading/nonloading CSS. Browser is usually innocent, it can affect multiple sites when they all share a javascript library downloaded from a third party CDN.0
