DD taken only three times each year

Have noticed £7 taken from my account in June, July and August for the last three years by direct debit. The company is CVRplan so it might be relating to a purchase I made from Currys or PC World although I can't remember and don't usually go for extended warranties. I can't work out why it's only taken in three months of each year?

If you don't know what it is for, you are unlikely to need it. Just cancel the DD with your bank - online or phone/branch. Keep an eye on your account in case it reappears and needs cancelling again.0

Bad idea!!!
If its for some kind of contract a default may be issued for non-payment.
Should figure out what it's for before cancelling the DD.What will your verse be?

Did you make three purchases in three different months?
Perhaps not a service that you asked for.
"In another 1,250 cases they either refused a warranty, but were sold one anyway, or were sold a warranty without being told about it."

Why on earth has it taken you 3 years to investigate? I can't imagine the Direct Debit Guarantee covering this.0 -
Maybe the policy costs £21 ?0

Don't cancel it until you know what it is for. It does sound like some sort of warranty for an electrical item.
If you google it it will tell you probably what you already are thinking, but it may well provide a contact number or website.
If you contact your bank there should be a reference on the direct debit, this will relate to the account you have with the company. (It may show on your statements or list of direct debits if you are online with your bank) Once you have this you can contact them direct, quoting the reference and all should be answered. Only then should you cancel it if you no longer wish to continue but let the organisation know.0 -
Or call Coverplan ?0
