    No worries.
as for the m510 they are ok, the hinges or connectors in the hinge seem to fail after about 16 months I have 6 customers who have all had one or both the 2 things happen.

This is what was once the dell entry level laptop, you can get the newer latest ones for about £350 but I would spend the extra £10 and buy the next one up with the bigger screen, double memory and 20gb more drive space and dvd writer.

A common thing with laptops is the battery ends up knackerd and a edll of the age that one will be will most likley need replaceing. so add another £20 to £80ish on top for a new battery depending where you buy it from.

If you really do want to buy that laptop off ebay then I wouldnt pay much more than £140 including delivery

ohh and doesn't throwing PC's and laptops out of windows give you a really good feeling inside.

I think that he assumes that you'll be back here with your ebay laptop.

Sometimes, these old laptops require BIOS updates and a complete format an re-install of the OS. Dropped another 128MB inside to bring it up to 160MB RAM.
Did so with my girlfriend's old laptop.. Runs nicely now with Windows ME.

I'll use it whilst abroad. That way I don't need to be nervous about losing it. :)
