Recommended PC builders - are Mesh any good now ?

I'm looking to get a new desktop PC, as 10 year old one is not up to video editing for gopro camera I just got.

Looking around Mesh has best price for spec I'm after (AMD 3.5Ghz 8 core/2Gb Nvidia GT640/16GB RAM/120GB SSD/1TB HDD/Win 7 PRO 64bit), googling for reviews finds recent ones are goodish, older ones had problems, but I understand it changed ownership (untidily) in 2011, so hopefully OK now.

Mesh price is ~£800, compared with ~£1000 for Aria/chillblast for similar spec, so I'm tempted, also it has 01xx phone numbers for support (others all have 084/5 higher rate numbers which puts me off).

I was hoping to spend around £500 so have already stretched as much as I want to.

Anyone suggest any other PC builders I should check before hitting the button, or have any good or bad expereince with Mesh recently (in 2013) ?

£300 laptop will do video editing, as will 10 year old machines, albeit slower.

Buy from one of the big boys, and you're unlikely to need support.

Thanks for replies, am currently using 3 year old £300 laptop as a stop gap, it is really slow though, outputting an edited 90 second gopro video takes about 20 minutes, an 18 second timelapse took about the same time to process, so its just too slow to be managable.

Am sure anything new with 8Gb+ memory would be a huge improvement, and I'm only editing video's for fun, so if I leave it to render for an hour once a week its not that big a deal!

If you only want spending £500, consider AMD APU.
