SKY arrgghh Customer Service? Make me laugh

1. Does your company *want* new customers? Would it be so difficult to put a note on the outgoing customers file to say - 'new person moving in, please pass to telesales once cancellation actioned?' - its not really rocket science?

2. I was prepared to pay £149 for installation of 2 sky+ boxes (as i did not want the 'normal' sky box) i requested a discount - i was told by a very rude man that there was no chance of a discount. I then requested to speak to a manager, who again was very rude and obviously did not want my custom as refused to give any incentive to sign up.

3. I spoke to a friend of my mine who is a customer (funny - he's on the forum!!), who said he had an offer of a free sky+ and installation, meaning i would only pay for the extra box (£99). I telephoned to order and after some difficulty with the system (apparently i was not a new customer... after all the other things that had happened, but that was sorted, and trying to get my friends details for the offer) Kerry was able to arrange for my installation. As i said to her 'your colleague cost your company £50 as i would have paid £149, and you are installing it for £99.

I have never dealt with such a rude indifferent arrogant company as sky. Your representatives (apart from Kerry) act as if you are doing us all a big favour by providing an entertainment service, and i certainly will not recommend you to anyone i know who wants a trouble and stress free experience.

I await your *standard* reply
