I bought this pomegranate and Blue Berry juice drink, it only contains 2% each of these fruits the bulk is made up of 40% water apple juice, Elderberry extract, and other stuff, yet another con by the food industry. Being diabetic I look for foodstuff to suite a sugar free diet and this seemed to fit the bill. The blurb on the bottle 50% less sugar & calories in tiny print on the back magnifier needed then states the ingredient's.

You don't need a magnifying glass I could quite easily read the ingredients in the supermarket.
Yes it's mostly water, hence the lower calories and sugar, and I didn't buy it for they reason. I would have thought reading ingredients would have been top priority as a diabetic, as 'less' is an abstract term and only applies in relation to something else.
Anyway the claims aren't wrong, it does have less calories etc and the ingredients are not misleading.0 -

Its a juice drink. So not going to be 100% fruit for a start.
As they are not adding sugar. It would not taste that great if all the juice in there was from pomegranate and blueberry.
If all the fruits came from pomegranate and blueberry. It would probably be 30-40% fruit content in total. THis would be inline with its other competitors.
personally I am nota fan of the drink compared to other fruit drink alternative.
If it was not bulked up with apple. the price would be a lot higher. At the moment the price is similar if not the same as orange trop 50?0 -

You might as well save money by buying the normal juice then mixing it 50/50 with water. Tastes the same and half the price!
(And obviously it will have 50% less sugar and calories...)
Trop 50 is just a clever marketing ploy.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -

So you're annoyed because a 50% juice drink contains 50% juice?
The horror!0 -
I tried the Trop 50 orange juice the other day.
Worst orange juice experience since I tried Sunny Delight just after that was launched. Disgusting artificial taste.
Went down the sink, won't be buying again....0
